VIVAPUR® Alginate FD 155 is a sodium alginate in form of a creamy-white powder. With the addition of higher valent ions (e.g. Ca2+) it can be used to form gels or biobased and transparent films, which provide oil and oxygen barrier properties. VIVAPUR® Pectin LC-S18XH is a water solvable pectin with a low degree of methoxylation in form of a beige powder. VIVAPUR® HPMC K15M is a high viscosity hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in powder form. It is solvable in water and forms a reversible gel above a specific gelling temperature.
