Phoenix 713-A is a pipe joint lubricant that is a soft, non-water-dispersible paste. It is a stable blend of vegetable oils, soaps, surfactants, and mineral fillers. The mating of abutting pipes forces the paste into the cavity, thus providing the needed lubrication to complete the coupling and seal the joint. Phoenix 713-A is a lubricant that does not dry out when gaskets are stored in a sealed container. It is certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61 requirements for use in potable water systems. Phoenix 28-B is a soft, non-water-dispersible paste that is a stable blend of vegetable oil, soaps, and surfactants. It is excellent for non-potable wet or underground pipe assembly.

Ease-On utilizes environmentally friendly raw materials common in the soap and lubricant industries. It will not irritate the hands and is not hazardous. This product can be cleaned with warm water and soap. Ease-On is certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for potable water pipelines. Made without petroleum, Ease-On will not swell gaskets.

Phoenix 505 has been tested and found to be safe for use on most common gasket materials.
