Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Trimagnesium Citrate meets the requirements of the US Pharmacopeia (USP) and/or the European Pharmacopeia (Ph.Eur.) always in their latest versions.Trimagnesium Citrates are produced by complete neutralization of citric acid with a high purity magnesium source, subsequent precipitation and dehydration. The two commonly available forms are trimagnesium citrate anhydrous and trimagnesium citrate nonahydrate. In some countries such as USA, trimagnesium citrate is simply denominated magnesium citrate. Trimagnesium citrate is mainly used as mineral source in food supplements, foods for particular nutritional purposes, and pharmaceutical preparations. Comparable to other magnesium salts, it shows a laxative effect at higher dosage levels. An agglomerated trimagnesium citrate anhydrous is available for direct compression of tablets. Being an excellent desiccant, it is commonly used to stabilize dry blends and to protect water sensitive ingredients. Magnesium citrates are organic mineral sources and are preferred in many applications to inorganic sources because of their superior bioavailability and physiological compatibility. Trimagnesium citrate anhydrous has the highest magnesium content (16%) among the organic magnesium sources commonly used, the magnesium content of the nonahydrate is 12%. Trimagnesium citrate is supplied as a white to almost white powder. It is practically odorless, soluble in water, freely soluble in diluted acid and practically insoluble in ethanol (96%). generally, hydrated forms of trimagnesium citrates are less soluble than the anhydrous type.granulation types are available as Powder and TMC GN.

It is separated from the acid by crystallization. GdL is a fine, white crystalline powder, freely soluble in water. It is practically odorless and has a slightly sweet taste. Non toxic, it is completely metabolized in the body like a carbohydrate. When added into an aqueous solution, GdL rapidly dissolves, and subsequently slowly hydrolyses to gluconic acid, thus producing a gentle acidification in the same way as lactic acid-producing bacteria. In solution both gluconic acid and GdL are always in balance. The equivalent point and the rate of transformation are related to concentration, temperature and pH-value. Two properties set GdL apart from other common acids and are the base of its application range:.

Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Xanthan Gum offers a wide range of xanthan gum types.Standard grades are available as:Food (F), technical grades (T) and oil (O)3 different particle sizes: F (fine), N (normal) and G (coarse)Xanthan gum exhibits extraordinary and useful properties, for example high viscosity at low concentrations, little change in viscosity at varying temperatures, and excellent stability over a wide pH range. It also provides good freeze-thaw stability and shows remarkable suspension characteristics. It is used as a stabilizer, emulsifier, thickener, suspending agent and bodying agent in food applications such as salad dressings, sauces, instant products, desserts, bakery dairy products, and fruit juices as well as in the formation of various low-calorie foods. Cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications of xanthan gum include the use in tooth pastes, lotions, shampoos and formulations such as tablets. Typical industrial applications of xanthan gum is the use in cleaners, paints, ceramic glazes, inks and oil drilling fluids.

Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Xanthan Gum FNCS-OC
INCI Name:
Xanthan Gum
Functions:
Foam Stabilizer, Emulsion Stabilizer, Thickener, Viscosity Modifier, Suspension Stabilizer
Labeling Claims:
Ulta Beauty's Conscious Beauty, Credo Clean Standard, Clean at Sephora
Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Xanthan Gum FNCS-OC is a high molecular weight polysaccharide which is produced by fermentation of Xanthomonas campestris. The main functional property of Xanthan gum is the ability to control the rheology of water-based systems. Xanthan Gum solutions are highly pseudoplastic, their viscosity is reduced instantly when high shear rates are applied. This property allows easy pumping and spraying. In contrast a high viscosity at lower shear rates gives excellent ability to stabilize emulsions, suspensions and foams. Xanthan Gum PC is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved.
Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Potassium L(+)-Lactate
INCI Name:
Potassium Lactate
Chemical Name:
Potassium (S)-lactate
CAS Number:
85895-78-9
Functions:
Buffers & pH Stabilizer
Labeling Claims:
Sodium-free, Clean at Sephora, Ulta Beauty's Conscious Beauty, Biodegradable, Non-Toxic
Synonyms:
(S)-2-Hydroxypropionic acid potassium salt, Potassium L-Lactate
Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Potassium L(+)-Lactate is obtained by neutralization of the acid of natural origin with a high purity potassium source. It is produced naturally by living organisms as a by-product of the glycolysis. Potassium lactate is a safe preservative with a high water holding capacity and buffering properties for food and personal care uses. As an alternative to sodium lactate, it addresses the concerns of health organizations and consumers about reducing sodium intake.
