Jungbunzlauer CITROFOL® AI has been registered according to REACH Regulation at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in 2013.CITROFOL® AI consists 100 % out of natural materials, citric acid and ethanol, and is used as flavor and carrier for flavors in the food industry. It is also permitted as a processing aid to whip egg whites. In the personal care industry CITROFOL® AI is used as solvent, diluent and fixative by perfumers. It is well accepted as an active ingredient in deodorants; it inhibits the enzymatic decomposition of sweat components. CITROFOL® AI is a cosmetic raw material approved by ECOCERT GREENLIFE, conform to COSMOS Standard. In pharmaceutical applications CITROFOL® AI contributes as plasticiser to the performance of enteric-coated tablets.

L(+)-Lactic Acid Technical Grade is a commercial production of lactic acid and is typically done by fermentation. There are two optical forms of lactic acid existing, whereby Jungbunzlauer has chosen to produce pure L(+)-lactic acid by traditional fermentation of natural carbohydrates. This product is an acidity regulator with descaling and antibacterial properties. It can be used in a wide range of industrial, institutional and home care products. This special technical grade of lactic acid satisfies customers' needs in cleaning and detergent formulations. It is available as 80% and 88% aqueous solution and is approved as natural ingredient for detergents by ECOCERT.

Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Sodium L(+)-Lactate is the sodium salt of L(+)-lactic acid, obtained by neutralization of the acid of natural origin with a high purity sodium source. It is produced naturally by living organisms as a by-product of the glycolysis. Sodium lactate is a safe preservative with a high water holding capacity and buffering properties for food and personal care uses.

Jungbunzlauer Suisse AG Xanthan Gum offers a wide range of xanthan gum types.Standard grades are available as:Food (F), technical grades (T) and oil (O)3 different particle sizes: F (fine), N (normal) and G (coarse)Xanthan gum exhibits extraordinary and useful properties, for example high viscosity at low concentrations, little change in viscosity at varying temperatures, and excellent stability over a wide pH range. It also provides good freeze-thaw stability and shows remarkable suspension characteristics.It is used as a stabilizer, emulsifier, thickener, suspending agent and bodying agent in food applications such as salad dressings, sauces, instant products, desserts, bakery dairy products, and fruit juices as well as in the formation of various low-calorie foods. Cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications of xanthan gum include the use in tooth pastes, lotions, shampoos and formulations such as tablets. Typical industrial applications of xanthan gum is the use in cleaners, paints, ceramic glazes, inks and oil drilling fluids.
