Technical Details & Test Data
- Technical Details
In hot melt adhesives, the synthetic PE wax and Fischer-Tropsch wax are both used. For Fischer-Tropsch wax is a saturated linear paraffin molecular structure with a high melting point and high hardness, furthermore, FT wax has a narrow melting range and good weather resistance. Therefore, it is more widely used in applications requiring good weather resistance, high temperature, and fast solidification.
At the low application temperature, the adhesives should be flexible to prevent the adhesive breakage. Also, quick setting adhesives are required by today's high-speed machinery.
