NA-SUL® CA-1259

1 of 30 products in this brand
NA-SUL® CA-1259 is a high performance liquid rust and corrosion inhibitor for rust preventives and dewatering fluids. It offers excellent solubility in a wide range of mineral oils, esters and vegetable oils. NA-SUL® CA-1259 is less viscous than many other additives of its type and may often be able to be cold blended into oils. This results in lower energy cost and faster processing. NA-SUL® CA-1259 has an exceptional ability to help to separate water from oil and oil/solvent solutions making it very suitable for dewatering fluid applications. The solubility of NA-SUL® CA-1259 should be verified in the diluents that are being considered for use.

    Applications & Uses

    Use Level
    1.0% - 20.0% (Rust preventive fluids), 2.0% - 15.0% (Dewatering fluids)
    Product Uses
  • NA-SUL® CA-1259 is a highly effective liquid rust and corrosion inhibitor that can be used in a variety of petroleum, vegetable based or synthetic diluents. It resists gelling when exposed to water and therefore can be used in high moisture applications such as rust preventives associated with wet parts.
  • It is particularly recommended where water displacement is important. Contamination with some metalworking fluids may cause gelling. Compatibility with possible contaminants or other process chemicals should also be verified prior to use.
