Koster Keunen Enhans PC-38 is a wax and synthetic polymer blend designed for skin care, sunscreens and color cosmetic formulations.

SynKos™ 2050 Wax is comprised of white, synthetic waxes with unique gelling and texturizing capabilities. SynKos waxes are synthetic polymers that are highly compatible, cost effective waxes that can also replace petrochemical waxes, petrolatum and polyethylene.

Kester Wax K-82P is a soft, pliable polyester wax. It has a unique plastic property that imitates the complex ester fraction of beeswax. K-82P suppresses the crystallization of other waxes while retaining high melt points.

Acid-Free Candelilla, or Cetearyl Candelillate, is a derivative of Candelilla Wax. In cosmetics it provides a low potential for interaction with other cosmetic raw materials. Acid-Free Candelilla is highly compatible, inhibits crystallization and acts as a gellant. In addition, it provides water repellent, moisturizing and film forming properties.

Kester Wax K-62 is a naturally derived, medium chain ester wax. Kester Wax K-62 has good thermal stability, very narrow thermal phase change, film forming properties, and wide compatibility in different solvents.

Siliconyl Carnauba Milk (Wax #558B) is a stable <500nm wax dispersion with unique formulating advantages. This dispersion couples the properties of Carnauba Wax with Silicones to produce a multifunctional performance additive designed for cold formulating. Siliconyl Carnauba Milk has application as a film former and functions at low usage levels between 2% and 10%. Siliconyl Carnauba Milk improves barrier properties, water repellency, slip, and diminishes surface imperfections. It is ideal for use in mascaras, sun care, creams, lotions, and hair care.

Koster Keunen offers many options for Beeswax in both white and yellow. Koster Keunen NF Beeswaxes meet the monograph of the US Pharmacopeia and can be used in applications such as personal care, OTC and topical pharmaceuticals.

Kester Wax K-385 is high purity ester wax from naturally derived feed stock. K-385 has good thermal stability, very narrow thermal phase change when measured by DSC, good film forming properties and wide compatibility in ink systems.

Koster Keunen has created this unique self-emulsifying wax that allows for simplification in formulating emulsions. SE Synthetic Carnauba is a blend designed for all industries where cost can be a factor. This single wax is used for thickening, film forming and some emulsifying.

Kester Wax BK-40, a high molecular weight branched ester, mimics the textures of butters and hydrogenated chemistries without the oxidation and rancidity issues. It is hard and brittle with a low melt point. These attributes impart a creamy texture and help to improve skin moisture without adding greasiness like many butters.

PEG Carnauba is a polyethylene glycol derivative of natural Type 1 yellow carnauba wax. Formulators use it as a thickening agent for film forming and emulsifying. It imparts a non-greasy feel to your formulations and gives the final product additional slip feel. PEG Carnauba, a cost effective raw material, provides superior stability. It is film forming and imparts a non-waxy feel when compared with other conventional cosmetic ingredients. In emulsion systems, the high molecular weight monoesters (> C-60) are popular for their film forming and barrier properties. Monoesters are very easy to stabilize using PEG Carnauba.

Carnauba Milk is a stable 30% type #1 Carnauba Wax dispersion with an average particle size of 250nm. It allows a formulator to utilize the desirable properties of Carnauba Wax without having to apply heat to the formulation. This creates a way to improve surface adhesion, mar resistance, film forming and barrier properties with no more energy than measuring, pouring and mixing in liquid ink systems and automotive wash and shine products.

Kester Wax K-60P, a soft pliable wax naturally derived from castor oil, functions as a film former, emollient and plasticizer. Koster Keunen provides formulations using Kester Waxe K-60P to create creamier textures while increasing the stability of your product.

Koster Keunen Synthetic Candelilla Wax is a cost effective alternative to natural candelilla wax. It is a light in color, hard, and brittle wax. This chemistry is designed to match the properties and characteristics of natural candelilla.

Koster Keunen Sunflower Wax is a vegetable wax obtained from the winterization of sunflower oil. This wax consists of long chain, saturated C-42 to C-60 esters. These esters correlate to hardness, crystalline structure, and a high melting point. It functions as a strong gellant and consistency modifier in sticks and emulsions.
