SYLVARES™ 1150 tackifier is a thermoplastic terpene phenolic resin designed for tackifying hot melt adhesives to provide superior adhesion and thermal-stability properties. This high heat resistance resin exhibits excellent compatibility and tackifying properties for use in styrenicblock-co-polymers and for solvent acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesives. This resin can also be used to tackify metallocene polymers.

  • longer chain alcohols like propanol, pentanol, butanol

  • smaller alcohols like ethanol
