KURARAY POVAL™ 3-86 SD by Kuraray is a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) specialty grade. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It shows good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It exhibits high molecular weight and good cohesion. It has a good affinity to hydrophobic substances such as polyester, polystyrene etc. KURARAY POVAL™ 3-86 SD is recommended for adhesives.
