Kuraray Poval™ 49-88 S2
1 of 147 products in this brandKURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade by Kuraray. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It is a water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is used in postage stamps and labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. It can be stored for 12 months.
