Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Avoid visual contact and generation of dust in the air. Provide adequate protective equipment and ventilation. In material handling areas they provide local exhaust to mechanical dust collection systems.
  • Clean up any accumulation of dust. Eliminate sources of ignition.
  • Store in a cool (68°F) and dry place elevated off the floor with no contact against walls to allow air movement around containers to prevent water condensation on the material.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, open flames, sources of ignition and incompatible substances.
