- For infant formulas, baby food clinical food, and nutraceuticals: This product is used to prepare infant formulas, baby food clinical food, and nutraceutical. Besides breast milk, infant formula is the only other milk product nutritionally acceptable for infants under the age of one year. The most commonly used infant formulas contain purified cow's milk whey and casein as a protein source, a blend of vegetable oils as a fat source, lactose as a carbohydrate source, vitamins and mineral salts.
- For infusion and dialysis solutions: This product is used to prepare Infusion solutions which are composed of mineral salts (such as Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium and Potassium Chloride) and glucose, administered intravenously. They are the best and the quickest way to deliver fluids and medication throughout a patient‘s body. An increasing number of people suffer from kidney failure. The dialysis treatment is required to remove waste products from the blood. Through a semi-permeable membrane (specially produced filters or peritonea) the waste products are transferred from the blood to the dialysis solution (prepared from Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium and Potassium Chlorides, Sodium Bicarbonate and Glucose). Once the blood is cleaned from the waste products it flows back to the blood flow.
