MAY ASIT KIMYEVI Nitric Acid &gt;55-56% is a colorless to yellow or red liquid sometimes fuming reddish brown vapors with a suffocating odor. Nitric acid is soluble in water with release of heat. Nitric acid is corrosive to metals or tissue. Nitric acid will accelerate the burning of combustible materials and Nitric acid may even cause ignition upon contact with combustible material. May Asit Kimyevi Aluminum Sulfate is an industrial chemical used as a flocculating agent in the purification of drinking water and waste water treatment plants, and also in paper manufacturing. It is used as a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles. Aluminum sulfate is the active ingredient of some antiperspirants. It is usually found in baking powder, where there is controversy over its use due to concern regarding the safety of adding aluminum to the diet. In construction industry it is used as waterproofing agent and accelerator in concrete. Another use is a foaming agent in fire fighting foam. It is also used in styptic pencils, and pain relief from stings and bites. It can also be very effective as a molluscicide, killing spanish slugs.

Its primary application is in the production of phosphoric acid, used to produce phosphate fertilizers, as well as ammonium sulfate, a nitrogen fertilizer important for use in sulfur-deficient soils. It is also used as a cleaning agent in the automotive, appliances, and other industries to “pickle” iron and steel - clean rust and impurities off its surface prior to processing - as well as to produce copper and zinc. It is used as a catalyst and additive in numerous other products, including petroleum refining, paper production, pharmaceutical production, acidic drain cleaners, batteries, dyes, pigments, detergents, explosives, pesticides, antifreeze, among many others. In addition, it is used to produce other chemicals including hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sodium carbonate, and more.
