Technical Details & Test Data
- Processing Information
Aqua-Brite SD3214-CT is broadly compatible with most aqueous coatings systems. A pH range between 7.5 - 8.5 is suggested for optimum stability. The paste should be dispersed into water based medium with minimal shear to avoid damaging the pigment. If necessary, the pigment can first be pre-dispersed into either water, iso-propanol, Dowanol PM (glycol ether) or a combination of those. It is not recommended to make a pre-dispersion in butyl glycol. Further guidelines are available from Metaflake technical department.
