DIACRON™ FC-3288 is a polyester resin with excellent pigment dispersibility. It is a low Tg grade and is optimal as a binder for paints and adhesives. By blending with a high Tg grade DIACRON, it exhibits excellent adhesion and bendability to plastic films, moldings and metals such as aluminum, copper and iron. With a biomass content of 98%, it is manufactured from plant-derived raw materials, excluding environmentally concerning plants such as palm and soybeans. When reacted with an isocyanate crosslinking agent, it functions as a polyester adhesive. As an acid-free polyester adhesive, DIACRON™ BioPES-001 does not cause metal corrosion and offers excellent adhesion to various substrates, including metals and non-polar plastics like polypropylene.
