Acrylic Bead Resins MB-8031 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin in non-dusting bead form. This product adheres well to various substrates such as PVC, polystyrene, and metal, and is designed for heat-sealed adhesives and lacquers. It offers excellent mechanical performance and has good impact strength and abrasion resistance.

- Acryl / VMCH (VINNOL H15/45M, Wacker) = 70 / 30 wt.%
- Solid content: 22%
- Solvent : Ethyl acetate / Acetone = 80 / 20 wt.%
- **Coating condition:
- Thickness: approx. 6μm
- Coated on glossy side of aluminum foil
- Dried for 3 min. at 180°C.
- ***Heat seal condition:
- 2.2 (kgf/cm2), 0.5 sec. at 150, 180 and 200°C
- Head surface : flat type
- ****Peel test condition:
- 250mm/min.
- Test sample width :15mm
Evaluation Results
Peel strength of BR-117 and MB-8031 are similar to competitor’s over temperature from 150 to 200°C.
