METABLEN™ S 2100 is a silicone-acrylic-based rubber impact modifier with good colorability and impact strength. It is used for polycarbonates (PC) and polycarbonate blends, polyvinyl chloride, engineering plastics and polyolefins in a variety of automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, and electric and electronic applications. METABLEN™ S-2100 provides ductility on facial impact tests, even after immersion of coating chemicals. The effect is maintained at higher molding temperatures.
