Tufel™ III rubber series are biocompatible(1), two component silicone rubber compounds. 92506 and 92656 are 50 and 65 durometer addition curable silicone elastomers that offer low compression set and high resilience with no post bake required for most applications. Silquest™ A-187 silane is specially formulated for use as an adhesion promoter in SPUR + * prepolymer, urethane, epoxy, polysulfide, silicone and acrylic systems for caulks, coatings, sealants and adhesives. Its epoxy functionality allows Silquest™ A-187 silane to perform as a durable epoxy ring that is reactive with many organic functions. It also offers non-yellowing adhesion in many resin systems and has proven to increase the flexibility of systems when compared to other adhesion promoters under certain conditions.

CoatOSil™ 2812 Coatings additive is a linear silicone-polyether (EO) block copolymer with -OH end group. It can help reduce coefficient of friction (COF) and enhance slip and mar resistance in waterborne, water reducible, conventional and high-solids solvent systems. Silquest™ A-Link 25 silane and Silquest™ A-Link 35 silane are unique isocyanate functional silanes. Silquest™ A-1120N(beta-aminoethyl) gamma-aminopropyltrimethoxy-silane is diamino func tional silanes that may be used over a broad range of applications. Silquest™ silane Y-9669 combines phenyl and amino functionality in the same molecule.It is an extremely effective adhesion promoter for many filled and reinforced resin systems. Silquest™ silane Y-9669 is a versatile adhesion promoter, particularly for resin systems that will react with a secondary amino group, such as isocyanates, acrylates, epoxies, phenolics and RTV silicones. This silane is especially useful when the resulting material must withstand higher temperatures; e.g., in phenolic resin/fiberglass composites.

If properly processed, parts made from LIM 8040 can meet the requirements for food contact. The requirements are determined in 21CFR FDA paragraph 177.2600 'Rubber articles intended for repeated use. It also has been successfully tested for USP class VI.
