Mosselman Sorbitan Monooleate 10 EO (9005-65-6) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters. They are more hydro-philic than the sorbtanesters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essential oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitanesters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsion. Ethoxylated sorbitanesters find applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile auxiliaries agrochemicals, etc.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monolaurate (1338-39-2) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitan esters. Sorbitan esters are used in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles etc.

Mosselman Castor Oil First Pression (8001-79-4) is the vegetable oil obtained from the seed of the castor tree “Ricinus communis” It contains a major amount of hydroxy acid.

Mosselman Castor Oil Hydrogenated (8001-78-3) is a white, odorless fat obtained by the hydrogenation of castor oil. It has very good compatibility with natural waxes. It is mostly used in the manufacture of calcium and lithium lubricating greases. These lubricating greases exhibit excellent resistance to oils and fats, water and solvents. It is also used as raw materi-al for solvent based coating systems, for alkyd resins and as processing aid for phenolic resins, poly-ethylene, PVC and rubber and as an additive in powder coatings. It is also of importance concerning the production of hot melts like paper additives. This amide finds use in a variety of cleaners, bath products and shampo where it acts as a viscosity builder, for foam boosting and foam stabilizing, as dispersing agent, emulsifier and superfatting agent. Superamide LD improves also the detergency of other surfactants.
