MPC-PROKIM Chemicals AGSL70

MPC-PROKIM Chemicals AGSL70 is an air drying long oil alkyd resin based on soya bean fatty acid. It provides a very clear varnish. It presents a good gloss retention, a good durability, a good color stability, a good wettability, a good high-build, a sufficient spread, a good brushability as well as a good yellowing and aging resistance.

Technical Details & Test Data

Solubility

Good solubility in aliphatic, aromatic and turpentine solvents as well as esters and ketones.

Drying

The following driers should be used: 0,08% Co; 0,15% Ca; 0,45% Zr (by weight metal based on solid binder). The addition of an anti-skinning agent such ethylmethylketoxime at a rate of 0.2 – 0.3% (based on solid binder) is recommended.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Durability

The product should be stored in original closed containers between 5 – 30°C away from direct sunlight. Under these conditions, the product can be kept a year without significant alteration of its properties.
