Recommended levels/use

Normal dosage ranges from 0.1 - 0.3 % on finished product. AGITAN 218 is typically added undiluted or emulsified in water during pigment grinding for optimum distribution and de-aeration. For most efficient use 2/3 of AGITAN 218 is added to the pigment dispersion and 1/3 is added to the letdown. For manufacture of emulsions it is necessary to add the defoamer to the water phase.
