Normal dosage ranges from 0.1 - 0.5 % on finished product. AGITAN 280 is typically added undiluted during pigment grinding for optimum distribution and de-aeration. For most efficient use 2/3 of AGITAN 280 is added to the pigment dispersion and 1/3 is added to the letdown. Dilution of AGITAN 280 in solvents of the formulation may improve distribution of the defoamer.
