AGITAN 282 has a wide formulation lattitude due to its ease of emulsification. Therefore it is especially suitable for clear coats, non-pigmented systems, low viscous systems and emulsion manufacturing.

- Recommended Levels and Use
Ladder studies are recommended to determine optimum use level. Normal dosage ranges from 0.1 - 0.5 % on finished product. AGITAN 282 is typically added undiluted during pigment grinding for optimum distribution and foam control. For intensive dispersing and grinding, AGITAN 282 should be added in the last third of the processing step. Pre-emulsification into water for post-addition is also possible.

AGITAN 282 is not sensitive to freezing, but for better handling it should be stored between 15 and 25 °C. The product may separate on storage. Therefore AGITAN 282 must be mixed before use. The minimum shelf life in closed containers is 15 months from the date of manufacture
