- Properties and Applications
METOLAT 355 is a wetting agent with low foam tendencies, suitable for many aqueous systems. Due to its nonionic character METOLAT 355 is compatible with many different raw materials with broad pH stability. It provides excellent pigment and substrate wetting. METOLAT 355 improves pigment compatibility and leveling in emulsion paints and water reducible systems.
- Recommended Levels and Use
Ladder studies are recommended to determine optimum levels. Normal dosage ranges from 0.1 to 0.5 % on total formulation. Treat levels of 1 to 3 % on solids are necessary for intense colors. METOLAT 355 can be added at any time during production.
