TAFIGEL AP 15 is a synthetic thickener designed for universal use in low to high PVC systems. In comparison to common HASE thickeners it shows a stronger associative thickening character. TAFIGEL AP 15 requires an alkaline pH-value (>8) for optimum efficiency.

Recommended Levels and Use

TAFIGEL AP 15 is supplied as low viscous emulsion. Neutralization results into a high viscous solution. Ladder studies are recommended to determine optimum additon levels. Normal dosage ranges from 0.1 - 4.0 % on total formulation.

TAFIGEL AP 15 is sensitive to freezing and temperatures above 50°C and should be stored between 5 and 25°C. The product must be stirred well before use. The minimum shelf life in closed containers is 15 months from the date of manufacture.
