METOLAT® P 590 is an APEO free wetting agent in powder form. It is added to dry blends, which are dissolved in water before application. The addition of METOLAT® P 590 results in an accelerated wetting of all solid particles, including sand, cement and fibers. This results in a more homogeneous mixture of the mass and a more uniform aspect of the surface after drying. In pigmented systems METOLAT® P 590 leads to a faster wetting of the pigment surface and prevents reagglomeration.
