VISCOFAN Alginate Co-Extrusion Gel is accepted by the USDA for use in federally inspected establishments. The ingredients used are subject to regulations by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under 21 CFR Title 21 and recognized as safe (GRAS). The Sodium Alginate in this product meets the definitions and requirements for Sodium Alginate as outlined in FCC 10th Edition, 21 CFR 184.1724 (USA) and Item A.5 of Table IV (Canada). This is an FDA registered facility, which is inspected by the FDA and the New Jersey State Department of Health. For shipments of VISCOFAN Alginate Co-Extrusion Gel outside the USA by a party other than Viscofan Collagen USA Inc. the responsibility to ensure regulatory compliance in the import country is that party’s sole responsibility.

- Storage Conditions
VISCOFAN Alginate Co-Extrusion Gel should be stored in a clean and dry location at a temperature of 1°- 4°C. GA1501 has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture when properly stored.
