Packaging and Transport

Care should be taken to prevent ignition from heat, spark, open flames or hot surface. BERMOCOLL CCA 612 is packed in a polyethylene bag. Net weight 20 kg. We recommend emptying the bags from the bottom. The empty bags can be recycled or burned.

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions
  • Bermocoll® CCA 612 should be admixed to the plaster in dry form before the water is added. Due to its small particle size Bermocoll® CCA 612 will dissolve rapidly after addition of water to the dry mix.
  • At the temperatures above 250 °C (480 °F), charring of Bermocoll® CCA 612 will occur. At high temperatures and in contact with an open flame, Bermocoll® CCA 612 will burn slowly with the characteristics of cellulose.
  • In unopened bags, BERMOCOLL CCA 612 can be stored for several years. In opened bags, the moisture content of BERMOCOLL CCA 612 will be influenced by the air humidity.
  • Like many industrial processed powdery materials, cellulose ether dusts are combustible and can cause dust explosions. Dust formation must be avoided or kept to a minimum.
