Features & Benefits

Features
  • Low use level: Good quality slow set emulsions are formed at low use level
  • Easy handling: The low viscosity, low pour point and water solubility of Redicote E-11 E makes it easy to use both as emulsifier and as a break control additive (retarder) for slurry
  • Good adhesion: Emulsions made with Redicote E-11 E pass the particle charge test and provide good adhesion to siliceous aggregates
  • No need for acid: No acid is required for soap preparation. The neutral pH of the emulsion is preferred in applications like tack coats for concrete, when emulsifying biobased binders and when water soluble thickeners are incorporated.

Redicote E-11E A Produce cationic slow setting emulsions with
excellent latex compatibility. Cement or lime filler not
always required. Emulsions can be formulated with
neutral or near neutral pH. The products can also be
used as dope in these systems.

Additives:

Generally the emulsifier can also be used as a break retarder on the slurry paver. Water soluble Redicote E-11HF-1, Redicote E-11HF, Redicote 611, Redicote E-7000 and Redicote C-450 are particularly suitable because they are water soluble and do not contain flammable solvents.
