• Low hazard rating: Wetfix AP47 is classed as irritant and is biodegradable
• Heat stability: It is possible to store Wetfix AP47 in the bitumen for up to two weeks at temperatures up to 180°C without significant loss of activity
• Effective with basic aggregates: Wetfix AP47 provides adhesion to basic aggregate like dolomite, limestone etc. and also to many acidic aggregates
• Warm mix asphalt and workability aid: The surfactant properties of Wetfix AP47 facilitate the reduction of asphalt temperatures and increase workability aiding compaction

Storage & Handling

Storage Conditions

Wetfix AP47 should always be homogenized before use, unless the entire quantity is used. Stainless steel or polyethylene lined equipment is necessary for storage of acidic and neutralized solutions of Wetfix AP47 in order to prevent corrosion.
