Novasolve is used as an emollient in skin care and may be used as a resin plasticizer for hair styling resins. Its branched nature imparts a low-viscosity and low freeze point, making it useful for reducing the tackiness of heavier oils, and so enhancing finished product feel (making it softer, drier, and/or less oily).

Novakare is a multi function ingredient blend that contains anti fungal properties and acts as a preservative. It makes a great addition to anti-dandruff products. It also works well in products like baby wipes and other skin care applications.

Novapreserve is a higly effective preservative blend consisting of Methyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben and disolved in (2-Phenoxyethanol). The blend has both a low-toxicity profile and dispays very low irritation to the skin, eyes or mucous membranes when used at recommended concentrations.

Novaguard EHG is a versatile and multifunctional additive, as well as a very effective active component in deodorants. It has an inhibiting effect on the growth of odor causing bacteria while not affecting the skin. It increases the antimicrobial efficacy of typically used preservatives like phenoxyethanol, pentylene glycol, caprylyl glycol, isothiazolinones and parabens.

NOVAGUARD 702 is a complete preservative system and is paraben free and formaldehyde free. It is effective against both Gram-positve and Gram-negative bacteria, mold, and yeast. NOVAGUARD 702 is a mild globally approved preservative consisting of a liquid blend of phenoxyethanol, benzoic acid, and dehydroacetic acid.

Novaguard EHGP is a mild broad spectrum liquid blend for the preservation of personal care products. It is a blend of Phenoxyethanol and Ethyl hexylglycerine. It is a paraben free alternative to traditional preservatives. It is an alternative to Euxyl PE9010 and Lexguard PE9010. Novaguard EHGP is a cosmetic preservative based on Phenoxylethanol and Ethylhexylglycerine. It has a broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and mold fungi. The addition of Ethylhexyl- glycerine affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol. Using Novaguard EHGP is particularly suitable for emulsions, oil and surfactant based formulations and may be used in aqueous formulations up to its solubility limit of approximately 1.0 %. Novaguard EHGP can be added to the formulation at temperatures up to 80°C, prolonged heating at elevated temperatures is not recommended. No discolourations have been detected.

Novapreserve MP is a compound that possess antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is used extensively as a water-soluble preservative in many foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products. Although methylparaben is usually synthesized in a laboratory for this purpose, it is essentially identical in molecular structure to the same compound that occurs in nature.

NOVAGUARD CGP is a liquid preservative system based on the widely accepted preservatives Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl glycol. It is a multifunctional ingredient with humectant, wetting agent, viscocity regulator and antimicrobial properties. This optimized combination provides broad spectrum protection against bacteria, yeasts and molds. There is growing need of alternative in cosmetics preservation, and NOVAGUARD CGP represents a versatile system without any controversial ingredients. NOVAGUARD CGP is a broad spectrum preservative blend in which the antimicrobial activity of Phenoxyethanol is enhanced by the boosting effect of Caprylyl glycol.

Novaguard CGP

Ethyl Paraben provides the good performance against Gram positive bacteria exhibited by all the parabens and has the same limitations regarding pH range (acidic only), system compatibility (avoid high levels of ethoxylates) and water solubility (limited). Ethyl paraben has been used in combination with Propylparaben in oral preparations for controlling fennentative action. It can be used alone but is generally used at 0.10 to 0.25% levels with other Parabens as the antifungal portion of the preservative system. Ethyl Paraben is an ethyl ester resulting from the formal condensation of the carboxy group of 4-hydroxyben- zoic acid with ethanol ; It has a role as an antimicrobial food preservative, an antifungal agent. Ethyl Paraben is mainly used as antiseptics in cosmetics, food and medicine. It also can be used as feed preservatives and antiseptiC for bacteria. It is non- irritant, low toxic level and effective at low concentration.

NOVAGUARD PCS can be used in a variety of cosmetic formulations. Due to the contained sorbic acid, NOVAGUARD PCS performs best in formulations with a slightly acidic pH value (pH 6 or below). This product is effective as a stand alone system and functions well with other preservatives. NOVAGUARD PCS is free if parabens, organic helogens, formaldehyde and formaldehyde donors. This product functions particularly well in slightly acidic formulations, and is globally approved. Consisting of Phe- noxyethanol (an aromatic ether alcohol), Sorbic Acid (a natural acid that offers protection from yeast, fungus and mold) and Caprylyl Glycol (an emollient base). NOVAGUARD PCS consisits of an active blend of Phenoxyeth- anol,Caprylyl Glycol and sorbic acid. An additional booster in- creases the broad spectrum activity against micro-organisms.
