Ocean's Balance Organic Atlantic Nori (Laver) - Flakes are sourced from sustainably grown and harvested macroalgae (marine plants), which are then dehydrated and ground. It is a cousin of Japanese sushi nori and provides natural sources of broad-spectrum trace minerals, phytochemicals, and micronutrients that are increasingly unavailable in conventional food ingredients. It is cherished in Wales, where it is traditionally used to make laverbread cakes for breakfast. On this side of the Atlantic, where our wild Atlantic Nori is sustainably harvested from the clean, cold waters of the Gulf of Maine, it can also be enjoyed in bread, salads, or even straight out of the bag.
