- General Information
CYGUARD LIQUID is a non-stripping saturation dip which will give up to 12 weeks residual protection against flystrike caused by all the commonly found strike flies including the Australian Green Blowfly (Lucilia cuprina). A shorter period of protection may occur if CYGUARD LIQUID is applied incorrectly, if there is excessive fleece soiling or if wool infections such as mycotic dermatitis (fleece rot) are present. Prolonged heavy rain following treatment may also reduce the protection period provided by CYGUARD LIQUID.

It is an offense for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards. Meat: Sheep producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be slaughtered during or within 7 days of the last treatment. Milk: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded for 35 days following treatment.

Ensure the time between dipping and subsequent shearing is at least two months, except in the case of spot treatment for flystrike. For advice on your dipping program contact your supplier.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT CYGUARDTM LIQUID contains 500g/liter cyromazine in the form of a water soluble concentrate.
- Directions For Use
By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label.
- Use Rate
FOR LONGER TERM PROTECTION (up to 12 weeks) Mix 2 liters of CYGUARD LIQUID with 1000 liters of water and apply by showering, plunge dipping or jetting. Top up at the same rate. Because this is a non-stripping dip, no reinforcement is required. FOR MEDIUM TERM PROTECTION (up to 6 weeks) Mix 1 liter of CYGUARD LIQUID with 1000 liters of water and apply by showering or plunge dipping. Do not use this rate for hand jetting or through spray races. Top up at the same rate. Because this is a non-stripping dip, no reinforcement is required.
