Features & Benefits
- General Information
Synergy™ Tribenuron 750 works best when weeds are small and actively growing. Susceptible weeds will stop growth soon after treatment, but damage symptoms may take 1 - 3 weeks to appear. Synergy Tribenuron 750 will work quicker under warm, moist growth conditions, whilst cold dry conditions following application will slow its action.

- Directions For Use
It is an offense for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards. Do NOT spray crops that are under stress from drought, water saturated soil, disease or insect damage, as crop damage may occur. Crop damage may also occur if these conditions occur after spraying. Do NOT apply to crops undersown with clover or lucerne. Crop injury may result from spray overlap. When starting, slowing or stopping, shut off the spray boom.
- Application Methods
Synergy Tribenuron 750 can be applied with conventional boom spraying equipment. Use 100 - 300 liters of water per hectare. Use the higher water rates for difficult to control perennial weeds.
- Mixing
Add the required quantity of Synergy Tribenuron 750 to the spray tank partly filled with water, and maintain agitation through filling and spraying. Use mixtures within 24 hours of preparation as product degradation may occur. Always add a non-ionic surfactant, eg, Synergy Wetter Sticker, at the label recommended rate, unless using in tank mix with another product that contains surfactant.
- Rainfall
Do not spray if rainfall is expected within 1 hour of spraying
- Resistance Management
GROUP B HERBICIDE
Synergy Tribenuron 750 belongs to the sulfonylurea chemical group. Some naturally occurring weeds may become resistant when excessive use of the same herbicide occurs. To prevent or delay the development of resistance, use in tank mixes and/or rotate use with herbicides with a different mode of action. Consult http://resistance.nzpps.org/index.php for alternative modes of action and details of resistance management strategies (if any) for the crops listed on the label.

Crop / Situation Application Rate Weeds Controlled Critical Comments Cereals - Wheat, Barley, Oats 15g/ha 25g/ha Californian thistle*, chickweed, fathen, scarlet pimpernel, scotch thistle, shepherds purse, spurrey, willow weed. *Apply to rosettes (10 - 15cm tall); thistles emerging after application will not be controlled. Redroot, sheep’s sorrel, twin cress, wireweed Apply at any stage from the 2-leaf Stage (GS12) up to just before the ‘boot’ stage (GS39). For best results spray before the crop canopy closes to small actively growing weeds. Use a minimum of 60 liters/ha of water. When used alone, add a non-ionic surfactant at label recommended rate. The higher rate is required for these weeds. Barley only 15g/ha To improve the spectrum of weeds controlled Synergy Tribenuron 750 can be tank mixed with Cougar® or Combine®. Follow the label recommendations of the tank mix partner Conservation Tillage - Cereals, New Pasture, Peas, Potatoes, Squash 40g/ha Clovers, ragwort*, sheep’s sorrel, yarrow *Ragwort plants may be more palatable after spraying, do NOT graze until treated plants brown out. For improved control of certain broadleaf weeds, use in tank mix with glyphosate plus penetrant before the crop is sown. Plantback Period: Do not sow the crop within 14 days of using Synergy Tribenuron 750. Do not use Synergy Tribenuron 750 within 2 months after applying lime. Safety & Health
- Spray Equipment Decontamination
To prevent injury to subsequently sprayed sensitive crops, thoroughly decontaminate spraying equipment immediately after spraying: 1. Drain tank and flush tank, boom and hoses with clean water for at least 10 minutes. 2. Fill tank with clean water and 1 liter chlorine bleach (3% sodium hypochlorite) per 100 liters water. Keep agitation system running while flushing hoses and boom, then drain. 3. Repeat step 2. 4. Remove and clean nozzles, filters and screens separately. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and flush through hoses and boom to remove traces of chlorine.
