SPECIAL BLACK 100 is an easily dispersed oxidized furnace process carbon black used for masstone in water-based primers. It is preferred as a tinting black with high stability to flooding and floating. Used for radiation curing coatings.

NEROX® 605 carbon black pigment is a Regular Color Furnace Black (RCF) type. It offers various levels of optical density and undertone, easy dispersing with high optical density and good hold-out, excellent coloristic properties and rheology, as well as an excellent balance of properties for sharp imaging and optimum gloss. Used for printing inks, masstone coloring in pure black coatings (e.g., in automotive basecoats), for tinting in gray coatings and paints (e.g., in decoration), and for light tinting in transparence coatings (e.g., for metallic effects and wood glazing). The use of oxidized pigment in solvent borne coatings and non or weak oxidized pigment in water borne coatings is recommended. It is also useful in powder and radiation curing coatings.

NEROX® 2500 is a Low Color Furnace Black (LCF) type. It is a low structured, aftertreated carbon black. It is recommended for use in solvent-based inks and packaging inks. NEROX® 2500 has excellent flow properties combined with distinct bluish undertone and superior compatibility with PA- and NC- binders in packaging inks. COLOR BLACK FW 171 carbon black pigment is a small particle size high color furnace black (HCF) type. It is particularly suited for water-borne coating systems that require high jetness with a bluish undertone, e.g., automotive and industrial coatings. Especially recommended for powder coatings.

COLOR BLACK FW 200 is a post oxidized, high color gas carbon black (HCG) that imparts the highest jetness level in top quality coatings. It can also be used for tinting of high quality coatings, e.g., metallics. Recommended for automotive and industrial solvent-borne coating applications.
