Surmax

Surmax® CS-586 is an alkaline stable surfactant that imparts high foaming characteristics in liquid cleaner concentrates.

Surmax®CS-521 is used in highly alkaline systems to impart exceptional cleaning, and low foaming properties at temperatures of < 60° C (140° F).

Surmax® CS-515 is an alkaline stable surfactant which is ideally suited for removal of oils and particulates at temperatures below 140° F. Due to a moderate foam generation, Surmax® CS-515 is ideally suited to soak cleaner applications

Surmax® CS-522 alkaline stable surfactants are soluble and stable in 30% sodium hydroxide and high levels of other alkaline builders. These surfactants are used to formulate alkaline detergent concentrates for metal cleaning, food plant cleaning, and transportation cleaning,. They can be used in liquid concentrates as well as in dry or powder formulations.

Surmax® CS-727MA is an alkaline stable surfactant that is designed primarily for use in liquid formulations containing high levels of sodium hydroxide. It is freely soluble in 50% NaOH and 45% KOH.

Surmax®CS-727 is an alkaline stable surfactant that is freely soluble in 50% NaOH and 45%KOH. Surmax®CS-727 has relatively poor solubility in phosphates and silicates. 1% Surmax®CS-727 is soluble in 10% TKPP and 10% sodium metasilicate. Higher levels of Surmax®CS-727 are not soluble in these levels of TKPP and sodium metasilicate. Surmax®CS-727 is very low foaming and adds good detergent properties in alkaline detergent formulations. detergent properties are good at low temperature and improve at higher temperatures. Surmax®CS-727 can hydrotrope small amounts of low foaming non-ionic surfactants into highly alkaline formulations.

Surmax® CS-504 is an alkaline stable surfactant that imparts moderate foaming characteristics in liquid cleaner concentrates. For application and formulation data, please refer to the Surmax®CS Series Brochure.

Surmax®CS-8400 is a low foaming alkaline stable surfactant which is designed for application temperatures above 60°C.

Surmax®CS-521C is used in highly alkaline systems to impart exceptional cleaning, and low foaming properties at temperatures of < 60° C (140° F).

Surmax®CS-555 is an alkaline stable surfactant designed for formulating low foaming, liquid cleaner concentrates containing high levels of caustic and/or other alkaline compounds. Surmax®CS-555 exhibits optimum detergency and low foaming properties at low application temperatures (<60°C). This material is non-substantive to metal surfaces and is, therefore, ideally suited for pre-plating and pre-painting applications.

Surmax®CS-634 was developed as a high-foaming soil-emulsifying alkaline stable surfactant. Surmax®CS-634 is water soluble and can be used in formulating cleaners for the metalcleaning, transportation, and janitorial industries under application temperatures of 73-140°F (25-60°C).

Surmax®CS-684 is a low foaming alkaline stable surfactant which is designed for application temperatures above 60°C.
