Chemfac phosphate esters exhibit a variety of properties including emulsification, lubrication, cleaning, and wetting. Due to the presence of phosphorous, some of the Chemfac products show excellent extreme pressure (EP) properties in addition to conventional lubricity properties. Certain Chemfacs also exhibit corrosion inhibiting properties when neutralized with amines. Chemfac PF-636 is primarily recommended in synthetic and semi-synthetic formulations.
