Recommended Application
- Boltorn P1000 is precursor for UV-curing acrylate oligomers where labelling issues are of prime importance.
- The acrylate of Boltorn™ P1000 has exceptionally low viscosity yet high molecular weight.
- It allows oligomer-only formulations to be developed without the use of labelled monomers.
- The acrylate of Boltorn™ P1000 can as such be used to yield “ready to go“ coatings and has the following principal features:
- excellent reactivity
- good combination of hardness and flexibility (toughness) and excellent abrasion resistance
- excellent chemical resistance and low water sensitivity
- low extractables
