​Petro Rabigh produces 300 kilo tons per annum (KTA) of HDPE for a wide variety of uses, including film, injection molding and blow molding (for small and medium blown containers).Petro Rabigh uses the Hostalen process, a slurry cascade process delivering outstanding HDPE multimodal products.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE)

Petro Rabigh produces polypropylene (PP) Homopolymer for various applications such as biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) for paint, lamination and adhesive tapes, yarn (for woven sacks, carpet backing, binding tape and monofilament) and injection grades (for general purpose and houseware applications).A Sumitomo gas phase process with a unique catalyst system is used to produce PP homopolymers, resulting in and excellent combination of processability and final product performance

HOMOPOLYMER POLYPROPYLENE (PP)

Petro Rabigh produces a total 150 KTA of LDPE and EVA by swing plant. EVA is used in a variety of applications and one of the key application is foam products.Petro Rabigh uses high-pressure Sumitomo swing process which employees' radical polymerization process of ethylene with vinyl acetate co-monomer to form Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

ETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE (EVA)

ETHYLENE PROPYLENE RUBBER (EPR/EPDM) 512E is a semi-crystalline rubber with medium molecular weight and high ethylene content, shows high green strength of uncured rubber and also its compound provides outstanding physical properties, also has its polymer design suited for the extrusion process. Excellent processability and articles with good shape retention are promised. 512EF is the same specification of 512E but 512EF is Friable Bale of 512E.

ETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE (EVA) H2201 contains 18% ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer resin, and is designed for a variety of foam application.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) B2555 is a medium molecular weight high density polyethylene resin used for blow molding. Blow molded parts made from this resin exhibit high stiffness, good impact strength and good Environmental Stress-Cracking Resistance (ESCR).

HOMOPOLYMER POLYPROPYLENE (PP) FS3011E is a polypropylene homopolymer intended for the extrusion of biaxially oriented film. It is easy to process and suitable for high speed BOPP line. The film made from this resin exhibits excellent transparency, excellent mechanical and barrier properties. It is also suitable for metallization.

HOMOPOLYMER POLYPROPYLENE (PP) FY3011E is a polypropylene homopolymer intended for yarn extrusion characterized by ease of processing and low heat shrinkage. Yarn made from this resin exhibit excellent mechanical property.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) F0554 is a high molecular weight high density polyethylene resin designed for blown film applications. This resin has broad molecular weight distribution that makes it easier to process. Films made from this resin exhibit high stiffness, excellent impact and toughness characteristics.

ETHYLENE PROPYLENE RUBBER (EPR/EPDM) is a non-oil extend grade with very high molecular weight and high ENB content, 5206 is especially suited for foam applications cured by continuous vulcanization. Sponge products with 5206 show good shape retention, low compression set and soft feeling.

ETHYLENE PROPYLENE RUBBER (EPR/EPDM) 505A is an amorphous rubber with low molecular weight and high ENB content, 505A is able to be applied for various types of product by taking advantage of its good flow and high cure rate, By blending with diene type rubbers such as a natural rubber, 505A plays significant roles to improve their ozone resistance, 505A is also suitable for foam applications made by continuous curing and it produces various sponge products with low density.
