Cel-Span® UVS 717 is a (HALS) concentrate containing a stabilizer package for injection blow molding, extrusion and film applications for polyethylene. Hindered Amine Light stabilizers are the most effective light stabilizers for polyolefins. HALS is extremely efficient because these special additives continuously repopulate themselves during the UV stabilization process.

Cel-Span® UVS 717 is an effective master batch to protect molded or extruded products from UV light degradation. We recommend a let down of 2% to 5% be used to protect thermal and UV parts from the sunlight and will last 5 -10 years outdoors. Cel-Span® UVS 717 is packaged in 55 lb. bags and 1,100 lb. gaylord boxes. We recommend this product be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat, and highly humid environments. No adverse health effects for the use of Cel-Span® UVS 717 are known. This product is non-dusting and all the additives are GRAS approved.
