OPTIM® B-025 is a maleic anhydride containing speciality copolymer. It is adequately polar to make it compatible with engineering plastics like PC, PBT and Nylons. It imparts enhanced impact properties in the process.

Processing Conditions
  • OPTIM® B-025 can be used at compounding stage in extruder, as well as for in-situ modification of engineering polymers directly in molding operation.
  • During processing, the compounding parameters that result in optimized performance include extruder type, screw design, temperatures employed, screw speed, and material feeding system.

  • OPTIM® specialty polymers are supplied in pre-dried form in 25 Kg (55 lbs) PE lined, HD woven sack-laminated paper bags and 750 Kg (1650 lbs) FIBC’s.
  • They should be stored in cool and dry place.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Handling Procedures
  • OPTIM® B-025 is mildly hygroscopic and should be stored in a dry and cool area.
  • It is recommended that prior to processing, the required quantity of material should be dried in a hopper dryer or air circulating oven at 80- 90°C for about 2 hours for obtaining best results.
