FR-PET® GF-PET is based on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin employed in the familiar PET bottle. FR-PET is created by blending PET resin with glass fibers, dramatically increasing its mechanical strength and heat resistance. This allows FR-PET to be used as an engineering plastic material. It has superior electrical properties and heat resistance. Moreover, it is an extraordinarily moldable glass reinforcing material. FR-PET® GF-PET is manufactured and sold by WinTech Polymer Ltd., an associated company.

DURANEX® PBT is characterized by its heat resistance and outstanding electrical properties. LAPEROS® LCP is a leading super engineering plastic that has a thinness and fluidity unheard of in typical engineering plastics. Heat-resistant and possessing an incomparable mechanical strength, LCP has the unique attribute that the thinner the product becomes, the greater its mechanical strength. Moreover, it has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion close to that of metal. It is often used in superminiature precision connectors for ever-smaller IT devices like tablets and smartphones. It is at the top globally* with a total market share of 37%.

Filled and modified compositions on the basis of polypropylene are produced by POLYPLASTIC under the ARMLEN trademark. This material belongs to the polyolefine class (polypropylene), it is the most suitable for subsequent compounding to derive a number of affordable thermoplastic materials with unique mechanical properties. Materials of the ARMLEN line share the advantages of a polypropylene matrix (the lowest density of all plastics, low moisture absorption, affordability, easy to process, chemical resistance) in combination with various functional fillers (fiber glass, mineral fillers, antipyrenes, shock-resistance modifiers, and others). Thus, we can offer our customers ARMLEN brands with a unique set of properties.

DURAFIDE® PPS was launched by Polyplastics as Japan’s first production compound, based on the supply of a PPS polymer with linear molecular structure from Kureha Corporation. It keeps its superior mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and fireproof properties. Moreover, it boasts excellent toughness compared to traditional PPS because of its superior ability to withstand stretching and impacts. Its applications range from peripheral automotive engine parts and electrical components in hybrid and electric vehicles to smartphones and water mixing valves in baths and basins.

Filled and modified compositions on the basis of polyamide-6 (PA-6) are produced by R&P POLYPLASTIC under the ARMAMID trademark. PA-6 — Russia’s most popular constructional thermolayer, widely applied in compounding. The scope of its application is wider than that of other engineering plastics and is determined not only by the set of its properties (high oil and gasoline resistance, resistance to hydrocarbon products, mechanical durability and rigidity, high shock resistance, heat resistance and anti-friction properties), but also by its availability as it is produced in Russia from domestic raw materials. The shortcoming of the material is its rather high moisture absorption, which limits its application in humid environments for the production of precision products.
