FR-PET® GF-PET is based on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin employed in the familiar PET bottle.

FR-PET is created by blending PET resin with glass fibers, dramatically increasing its mechanical strength and heat resistance. This allows FR-PET to be used as an engineering plastic material. It has superior electrical properties and heat resistance. Moreover, it is an extraordinarily moldable glass reinforcing material.

FR-PET® GF-PET is manufactured and sold by WinTech Polymer Ltd., an associated company.

FR-PET

DURANEX® PBT is characterized by its heat resistance and outstanding electrical properties. Its excellent compatibility with various kinds of reinforcement and additive agents means that it can be given many different properties according to specific customer needs. This also allows us to develop a diverse range of grades in our product lineup. This versatile product is utilized in a wide range of areas from wire harness connectors in automobiles to all kinds of electronic components, and also in more familiar everyday items, such as make-up brushes and paper laminate food packaging.

Duranex

DURACON(R) / TEPCON(R) POM is an engineering plastic that is used is an extremely wide variety of fields and applications, owing to its well-balanced properties. Polyplastics also offers a range of low-VOC grades that are similarly suited to a variety of applications, with Table 1 showing the typical grades available.

In addition to our standard grades (M90LV, M270LV, M25LV), we offer a wide range of special low-VOC grades, such as an improved weather resistance grade (M90-45LV), an improved sliding property grade, and a glass reinforced grade (GH-25LV). This enables measures for the reduction of VOCs in a variety of components and applications.

Tepcon

LAPEROS® LCP is a leading super engineering plastic that has a thinness and fluidity unheard of in typical engineering plastics. Heat-resistant and possessing an incomparable mechanical strength, LCP has the unique attribute that the thinner the product becomes, the greater its mechanical strength. Moreover, it has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion close to that of metal. It is often used in superminiature precision connectors for ever-smaller IT devices like tablets and smartphones. It is at the top globally* with a total market share of 37%.

Laperos

Filled and modified compositions on the basis of polypropylene are produced by POLYPLASTIC under the ARMLEN trademark.

This material belongs to the polyolefine class (polypropylene), it is the most suitable for subsequent compounding to derive a number of affordable thermoplastic materials with unique mechanical properties. Materials of the ARMLEN line share the advantages of a polypropylene matrix (the lowest density of all plastics, low moisture absorption, affordability, easy to process, chemical resistance) in combination with various functional fillers (fiber glass, mineral fillers, antipyrenes, shock-resistance modifiers, and others). Thus, we can offer our customers ARMLEN brands with a unique set of properties.

Armlen

DURAFIDE® PPS was launched by Polyplastics as Japan’s first production compound, based on the supply of a PPS polymer with linear molecular structure from Kureha Corporation. 
It keeps its superior mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and fireproof properties. Moreover, it boasts excellent toughness compared to traditional PPS because of its superior ability to withstand stretching and impacts. Its applications range from peripheral automotive engine parts and electrical components in hybrid and electric vehicles to smartphones and water mixing valves in baths and basins.

Durafide

Filled and modified compositions on the basis of polyamide-6 (PA-6) are produced by R&P POLYPLASTIC under the ARMAMID trademark.

PA-6 — Russia’s most popular constructional thermolayer, widely applied in compounding. The scope of its application is wider than that of other engineering plastics and is determined not only by the set of its properties (high oil and gasoline resistance, resistance to hydrocarbon products, mechanical durability and rigidity, high shock resistance, heat resistance and anti-friction properties), but also by its availability as it is produced in Russia from domestic raw materials. The shortcoming of the material is its rather high moisture absorption, which limits its application in humid environments for the production of precision products.

It is a non-polar substrate that does not promote adsorption, denaturation, aggregation, or precipitation like glass can. Topas® 8007S-04

Polyplastics Group Topas® 8007X-10 is a highly UV-transparent version of our 8007 series of injection molding resins. Like the rest of the 8007 grades, 8007X10 is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for diagnostic and analytical products. It transmits ultraviolet light at lower wavelengths than other polymers. Analytical results are more accurate with pure TOPAS COC and its higher UV transmission for more precise analysis in contact with sensitive chemistries.

Polyplastics Group Topas® 5013S-04 is a high flow injection molding grade with a 130°C heat distortion temperature. It is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for healthcare and other high-tech products. The 5013 resin series features high flow characteristics for excellent mold detail replication. Lower leachables and extractables of TOPAS COC preserve content stability and quality, and chemical purity. This grade has a high heat distortion temperature to withstand 95°C PCR protocols, and is suitable for gamma or EtO procedures.
