Recron® Green Fiberfill has been developed as an environment-friendly alternative to traditional stuffing based on the sustainability principles of 'Recycle, Reduce and Reuse'
- Low Environmental Impact - Recron® Green Fiberfill is made from 100% post-consumer PET bottles, saving thousands of bottles from land-fills. This decreases the green-house gas emissions and conserves water and energy in the process. The unique combination of manufacturing processes, feedstock and ancillary practices has made its carbon footprints one of the lowest among fires globally.
- Outstanding Loft - Recron® Green Fiberfill engineered cross-section has one of the highest void ratios among all fibers globally with >30% void (hollowness). Spiral crimps have also been imparted to it through special spinning technology. The combination of high void ratio and spiral crimps helps Recron® Green Fiberfill achieve 15-20% higher loft without weight than conventional fiberfill.
- Compliance with International Standards - Reliance has always made a conscious effort to adopt quality assurance measures and eco-friendly processes of the highest standard. Recron® Green FIBERfill has been granted the 'Global Recycle Standard v 4.0' from the internationally recognized Control Union Certifications, Netherlands. This establishes the fact that Recron® Green FIBERfill meets even the most stringent environmental criteria for being a green fiber.
- Hypoallergenic & Safe - Recron® Green FIBERfill meets the stringent human-ecological requirements of the Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex® presently established in appendix- 6 for baby articles. Recron® Green FIBERfill is also hypoallergenic and odor free.
