NEOSORB® XTAB 300S is a directly compressible sorbitol powder for very hard sugar-free tablets with high flavor load. NEOSORB® XTAB sorbitol delivers a smooth, hard and uniform colored surface as well as a clean, cooling effect. Dental plaque, a sticky bacterial film that develops on dental enamel, reoccurs after every meal. Those microorganisms feed on sugar fermentation, produced by destructive acids attacking tooth enamel. NEOSORB® XTAB directly compressible polyol do not produce acids nor cause tooth decay as the oral bacteria do not metabolize them. Additionally, European regulation recognizes the nutritional benefits of polyols (Maintenance of Tooth Mineralization, Toothfriendly generic EU claims).
