SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ EXL1443T polycarbonate (PC) siloxane copolymer resin is an injection molding grade with FDA and EU food contact compliance. This resin offers excellent low temperature (-30 C) ductility in combination with medium flow characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN™ EXL1443T resin is available in transparent and opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a broad range of food contact applications. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRIN W1000JiQ compound is based on Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin utilizing ELCRIN iQ upcycling technology containing minimum 56% Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) weight content. Added features of this grade include: Biocompatible (ISO10993), Improved Processing, Low Extractables, Healthcare. This material is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as Styrenic Block Copolymers. PPE powder can be used to improve properties (i.e. Heat Distortion and Creep Resistance). It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic (typically less than 0.2% water uptake).
