Our EXTINITY® line of flame retardant and antimony oxide masterbatches deliver FR performance in a non-dusting pellet that is easy to handle. Benefits include improved properties via better dispersion and better environmental Health and Safety by elimination of powders.

LINXIDAN® coupling agents improve mechanical properties of fiber and mineral filled compounds, and improve dispersion in polyolefin master batches and flame retardant compounds.


LINXIDAN

CAPXIDAN® capstock products are designed to be coextruded over Wood-Plastic Composite deck boards to provide moisture &amp; wear resistance, esthetics, durability and unprecedented adhesion to the WPC substrate. CAPXIDAN® is a modified copolymer produced with a proprietary, specialized formulation. The material may be used with or without one of our specialized synergistic additive packages depending on the desired properties and production conditions. Properties such as Gloss, Surface COF, and Scratch &amp; Mar resistance can be customized with the use of other specialty additives as well as processing parameters.

ARMIDAN® impact modifiers are designed to toughen polyolefins and polyamides to the most critical thermal environments and provide a favorable balance of cost and properties, including excellent room temperature and low temperature impact.

PEXIDAN® L/T-UV is a high density PEX system consisting of a silane grafted basecompound A-1001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-003 (or A-1022 and CAT-117). When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions, the two-component system results in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to moisture or by immersion in hot water at 90-95°C. PEXIDAN® L/T is listed by NSF International to standards 14 and 61 and to Canadian Standards Association standard B137.5. NSFI certification to ASTM F876 and ASTM F2023 testifies to its superior resistance to oxidation by hot, chlorinated water. PEXIDAN® L/T is permitted to be used in domestic continuous re-circulation systems and is listed by NSF as a NSF-pw CL5 / PEX 5006 material.

ARMIDAN® NT7510 is a Maleic Anhydride modified polyolefin elastomer specifically designed for toughening Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and other polyamides. Suggested loading levels are between 15 and 25 wt % depending on the specific Nylon grade and desired level of impact modification.

PEXIDAN® J/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (60:40), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® J/T is designed to meet SAE J1128 standards for GXL, TXL and SXL type insulation. PEXIDAN® J/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. 


PEXIDAN® J/T

PEXIDAN® HF X/T is a unique low smoke halogen free flame retardant 90°C wet-rated XL-insulation system curable by moisture. It consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound SX651 and a catalyst masterbatch CM540U. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95:5), the two components result in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to 90°C hot water. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is REACH and RoHS-compliant and is UL 2885 certified to bear the Halogen Free “HF” designation. PEXIDAN® HF X/T is UL-bulletinized and wire made with this insulation system may be marked as Oil Resistant “PR I” and “PR II”, Gas &amp; Oil Resistant “GR I” and “GR II”, “-40C” and “SUNRES” in all colors. This compound will meet a 105°C dry rating.


PEXIDAN® HF X/T

EXTINITY® 0202-103 is a highly loaded masterbatch of brominated flame retardant pre-dispersed in a polypropylene carrier. It has been designed for use in variety of compounding applications. The pellet form makes the flame retardant easier to handle, more efficient, and can lower overall costs. The product is RoHS compliant.

PEXIDAN® SX505:CM493 and SX505:CM497 is a silane crosslinkable rubber compound, curable when exposed to moist conditions. The compound can be processed on largely standard thermoplastic extrusion equipment with good extrusion properties at high output rates. The graft component SX505 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst
masterbatch CM493 or CM497 generally in the ratio 95:5. CM497 is a lower strength catalyst masterbatch and is used on thin wall extrusion or to reduce premature crosslinking during processing. The SX505:CM493 or SX505:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 33 kV. PEXIDAN® SX505 is a zero-halogen material and is used as insulation in Low Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) cable constructions

PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-005FR-UV1. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions the two-component system results in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. UL44 type insulation may be marked SUNRES or SR in all colors for sizes of 6 AWG and larger. UL4703 photovoltaic insulation may be marked SUNRES in all sizes and colors

PEXIDAN® X/T-UV

EXTINITY® 0218-108 is a highly loaded flame-retardant concentrate that can be used for a variety of polystyrene-based applications. This concentrate has been designed to be used in High Impact Polystyrene, but is also effective in the entire styrenic family including general purpose polystyrene grades. EXTINITY® 0218-108 provides excellent flame-retardant performance while having minimal impact on mechanical properties and processibility. Varying the use rate of 0218-108 will permit the final compound to meet UL-94 V-0, V-1 or V-2 requirements.

LINXIDAN® LX4433 is a Maleated HDPE Coupling Agent designed specifically to chemically bind natural fibers to HDPE in Wood-Plastic Composites. Coupling fibers to the HDPE matrix, in a 50% wood-filled system, reduces moisture uptake while increasing flexural modulus by 20% and overall flexural strength by 90%.

EXTINITY® 0101-108 is a halogenated, flame retardant compound specifically designed for use in plenum tube applications. This compound has good thermal stability and can be converted easily on standard processing equipment.

Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.
