- Typical Performance
EXTINITY® 0218-108 can be used to meet a variety of flame retardant requirements in polystyrene-based systems. In particular, internal testing has shown that the use of EXTINITY® 0218-108 in HIPS generates the following performance in UL-94 testing:
Test Percentage (%) UL-94 V-2 @ 1/16" 24-28 UL-94 V-0 @ 1/16" 28-32 Specific performance will vary based on application, resin selection, polymer viscosity, processing conditions and use rate of the concentrate.Please contact us for recommended levels and processing conditions for your specific situation.

EXTINITY® 0218-108 can be processed using standard conversion equipment at typical conditions for polystyrene, (recommended
processing temperature range of 380°– 450°C). Specific processing conditions vary with application, equipment and usage rate. Please contact us for processing conditions and usage rates recommendations based on your specific needs.

SACO AEI Polymers recommends that EXTINITY® 0218-108 be stored in an ambient temperature range (10-25°C), in its original container and away from moisture and high humidity.
