ARMIDAN® NT7510 is a Maleic Anhydride modified polyolefin elastomer specifically designed for toughening Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and other polyamides. Suggested loading levels are between 15 and 25 wt % depending on the specific Nylon grade and desired level of impact modification.

PEXIDAN® SX505:CM493 and SX505:CM497 is a silane crosslinkable rubber compound, curable when exposed to moist conditions. The compound can be processed on largely standard thermoplastic extrusion equipment with good extrusion properties at high output rates. The graft component SX505 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 generally in the ratio 95:5. CM497 is a lower strength catalyst masterbatch and is used on thin wall extrusion or to reduce premature crosslinking during processing. The SX505:CM493 or SX505:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 33 kV. PEXIDAN® SX505 is a zero-halogen material and is used as insulation in Low Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) cable constructions

PEXIDAN® A-3021 is an ethylene-copolymer based XLPE curable by moisture and is intended for application requiring superior flexibility. When mixed in the proper proportions with a suitable catalyst masterbatch, the resulting mixture is curable by exposure to stream, 70-95°C hot water, or even ambient moisture. A-3021 is the silane-grafted base component of a 2-part system and must be used with a suitable catalyst masterbatch.

EXTINITY® 0211-301 is a highly loaded antimony oxide concentrate in an EPDM carrier resin. The antimony oxide content in EXTINITY® 0211-301 is 80% by weight. All SACO AEI Polymers flame retardant concentrates are much more easily dispersed and therefore provide resultant materials with superior physical properties and flame resistance versus the use of additives in their naturally occurring state.

THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT is a natural, UV resistant, Lead-free, RoHS compliant, Thermoplastic CPE compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications including wire and cable and tube bundles. This compound has superior fire performance; including slow flame propagation, and self-extinguishing characteristics. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput. This extrusion compound meets, or exceeds, several industry jacketing specifications, including UL 1277 tray cable. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT has been designed to be optionally cross-linked by e-beam irradiation in order to further toughen the material and provide for a thermoset CPE compound. Additional information regarding recommended e-beam dosing is available upon request.

EXTINITY® 0202-104 (formerly known as: EXTINITY® CF101-LM) is a flame retardant masterbatch in a semi-crystalline, co-polymer polypropylene carrier. It has been designed for extrusion, and Wire and Cable insulation applications. The product meets between V-2 and V-0 flammability rating when tested to UL 94 at various thicknesses.

PEXIDAN® SX554 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493, in the ratio 95:5, or CM497, in the ratio between 90:10 and 93:7.CM493 is a stronger catalyst suitable for wall thicknesses > 1.5mm and CM497 is a weaker catalyst suitable for small conductor sizes, such as 1 to 4 mm2. The system SX554:CM493 or SX554:CM497, has been approved for use at 1kV and has found uses up to 10kV, it is highly flexible and enables the production of soft rubber cables without the use of continuous vulcanization equipment. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

LINXIDAN® LX4530 is a polyolefin plastomer with a silane copolymer functionality, designed to improve compatibility and mechanical properties of polymer compounds. Contrarily to conventionally maleated polyolefin coupling agents, LINXIDAN® LX4530 does not interfere with metal stearates used as lubricants in Wood Plastics Composites (WPC), providing increased tensile strength, impact strength and flexural modulus, and reduced moisture absorption..

EXTINITY® 0203-303 is a highly loaded antimony oxide concentrate in an EVA carrier resin. The antimony oxide content in EXTINITY® 0203-303 is 85% by weight. All SACO AEI Polymers flame retardant concentrates are much more easily dispersed and therefore provide resultant materials with superior physical properties and flame resistance versus the use of additives in their naturally occurring state.

PEXIDAN® SX505NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497, in the ratio 95:5. The SX505NT:CM493 or SX505NT:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 36 kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.
