POLURENE OK.D.S is a mixed, aliphatic-aromatic, isocyanurate obtained from thereaction between Hexametylene diisocyanate (HDI) and Toluene diisocyanate (TDI).
The main substrates for coatings hardened by POLURENE OK.D.S are:
- Wood
- Metal
- Paper
Due to its slightly yellowing property POLURENE OK.D.S is suitable for light pigmented paints. As well, the paint hardened with POLURENE OK.D.S has good flexibility and mechanical resistance. Due to its reactivity and its compatibility to nitrocellulose, POLURENE OK.D.S enables to prepare fast curing paints maintaining high flexibility as well. POLURENE OK.D.S is compatible with resins of REXIN and UCOPOL M range; it is also compatible to over-mentioned nitrocellulose and to vinyl, urea and melamine resins. Each compatibility has to be checked before mixing.

In sealed drums we guarantee a storage life of 6 months, provided that POLURENE OK.D.S is stored under dry cool condition. Once opened the product should be used rapidly, because, like all isocyanates, it is sensible to moisture.
